The history of the Veronesi Group is deeply rooted in the local area. There is documentary evidence that in Valpantena, in the 16^th century, there was already a family by the name of Veronesi who ground cereals using millstones.

So our roots run deep, and go back a very long way, revolving – and the word could not be more appropriate – around the mills. Indeed, it was one of these mills that in 1958 became the first Veronesi animal feed factory, joined in 1968 by AIA, Agricola Italiana Alimentare, which soon became one of the leading firms in the poultry sector.
